We were enrolled with what Sharlene wanted to achieve when the business first started and so we built something completely innovative for their industry.
A conditional booking system that was responsive and changed based on the information that the user had entered earlier.
If you were booking 2 cats as opposed to 1, additional fields would be populated accordingly, as an example.
The relationship we have built with Sharlene and the team at Stoney Peak Pet Lodge is one of (if not) the longest we have maintained. They offer some of the best in pet care at their Kennel and Cattery in the Waikato with gorgeous picturesque scenery and rolling mountains for fur babies to explore and deluxe packages for those pooches needing some extra pampering at a Dog Kennel and Cattery.
One of the biggest challenges was creating a booking system that could handle the wide variety of services offered—without confusing the customer. Stoney Peak offers everything from single pet stays to deluxe multi-animal packages with optional extras like farm walks and taxi services. A one-size-fits-all form simply wouldn’t cut it.
We also needed to ensure the system was easy to use on mobile, intuitive for busy pet owners, and flexible enough to evolve with the business. The goal was to create something that felt seamless for customers while giving the team at Stoney Peak full control… no third-party booking platforms, just a custom-built solution that works.
Took the existing marketing and branding collateral that the team at Stoney Peak had to offer including business cards, flyers and digital marketing then built out the style guidelines for the websites including colour scheme, fonts to use and other visuals that best represent their business.
Built out the core website including informative pages, pricing pages and pages showcasing the team and what their values.
Researched and refined the best way to include a booking system into the website that would not overwhelm the clients of Stoney Peak Pet Lodge, after going back and forth with the team we agreed on a conditional form booking system that progresses and generates new fields, depending on what information the the user provides when filling out the form.
